Long time no post, life has been busy the last couple of weeks with work and well work but that’s awesome I have had my Supervisor position with Marriott made permanent which is awesome because I love my job and the people I work with and am looking forward to a long career their. Now on to the album review this weeks album is one that I never thought I would get to listen to let alone review, Chinese Democracy by Guns n’ Roses. Now I must admit when I got the chance to listen to this album I had pretty low expectations but I was wrong the musicianship on this album is very solid and Axle’s voice is strong on every track in fact I would say that this album is on par with any of their earlier work and even though this is not the original line up of the band (or the line up that recorded most of this record) I would go so far as to say that Guns n’ Roses is back. I am going to see a few shows this weekend, Share tonight and Sam Roberts and Matt Mays tomorrow night so I may post a concert review by the end of the weekend.

Peace,

Hello,

Today’s album is “in the ever” by singer songwriter Mason Jennings. This album is Mason’s first effort for Jack Johnson’s brushfire records and reflects Mason’s interesting view of life, love and religion. Stand out tracks include  “I Love You and Buddah Too”, “Fighter Girl” and “The Fisherman”. If you are looking for a good chill out album this would be pretty close to the perfect choice.

Until next week,

Hello,

Welcome to my blog, I have chosen this as a medium for my album recomendation of the week as well as whatever else I feel like ranting about.

The first album I have chosen to recomend is “in your bedroom after the war” by Stars, This is the most recent release by the Canadian indie rockers and is a very strong effort. Stand out tracks include “take me to the riot” ”the night starts here” and “today will be better I swear”. If you like catchy tunes and well written lyrics you will enjoy this album.
